Thanks goes out to Rick. He found a hole in our course list. You’ll all be glad to know Pine Ridge has been added. Opened in 2006, this par 70 public course plays just over 6,600 yards from the back tees. I’ve never played here before, have you? Comment below..

FROM THE WEST:
Take the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 63 (CR-83 North Ocean Ave/Mt. Sinai/Patchogue). Make the first left onto North Ocean Drive/CR-83 North. Continue North approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Pine Rd. Make the first right onto Avalon Pines Dr. Clubhouse will be on the left side.
FROM THE EAST:

Great course challenging greens starting to look really good and growing in after only being open for 2 years and after 2pm $30 right now overall 8.5 out of 10. Finished the bar area very nice only downside the cart paths are dirt and if it is dry it gets whipped up by the wind and it gets in ur face and eyes other than that friendly staff and serivce amd oh do the carts go.
On Friday, April 22,2011 my son-in-law Joe Nugent treated 3 of us to a round of golf at your course. We arrived at approximately 9:05 A.M. for our 9:33 T time. When we checked in we were told that a group of 40 had just gone off in front of us, no problem. However, no one, not the pro-shop/bag attendant or the starter had the courtesy to inform us that the greens had just been aerated or that the irrigation system was being repaired on several greens. Several of the greens had mounds of dirt on the first cut and workmen were still in the process of doing the repair work.Had we been aware of the condition of the course or that work was in progress we would most likely not chose to play.I have played at your course before and many others. I feel that we should have been informed of the course conditions before hand thereby having the opportunity to cancel or to play at a reduced price which is what I have experienced at other courses.
Very challenging layout. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The cart paths need some work but all in all a very great time and friendly staff. Will be back!
