DaveStar of Manhattan says:
I stay cool on the course with plenty of ice cold beer — I also find it helps my golf game!

Mish of Stony Brook says:
I’m one of those early morning golfers who prefer to stay away from the blistering heat when I play golf (Mainly because I am as white as snow). But when I have a tee time after 8 am, I try freezing a damp wash cloth and in between shots I drape it around my neck. I also drink plenty of water / gatorade during the round too.
Mike G of Hickville says:
Keeping cool is important. That said, I start with getting a good night’s sleep. I find better sleep and focusing on relaxation techniques during the round keeps me focused on hot days.

nothing tastes better on the golf course than tecates in the can….packed in a mobile bar (backpack with ice inside a plastic bag). i also enjoy a tap beer at the turn.
@J Wolf
I can attest. This is a great plan. However, there are diminishing returns on beers. After a couple, my game goes downhill – fast.
@deo i can attest….i’ve seen deo’s game go downhill fast…ha!
