I’d like to show me Directions to Bethpage U.S.OPEN From Manhattan by subway.

  2. admin says:

The subway won’t get you there directly. You’ll have to take the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Bethpage Farmingdale. We’ll be posting more information about transit options as the Open approaches.

Here’s the website for the LIRR: http://www.mta.info/lirr/

  3. Adam says:

What is the least expensive way to get to Bethpage from JFK?

  4. admin says:

JFK links to the Long Island Rail Road via the Airtrain ($5). From there, you can travel to the Bethpage Farmingdale LIRR station ($10/$12).

Total cost should be under $20.

Again, we’ll full investigate all transport options as the Open approaches.

  5. admin says:

We’ll be posting more info in the coming weeks. I just got a look at the transportation plan for the Open. All cars will park out at Jone Beach and an expanded train schedule will run to/from Farmingdale Station. From each of those spots, the USGA will provide free shuttle buses.

My suggestion… take suggestion… take public transport.
