I was really surprised when I was at Bethpage this past Sept. The first thing I noticed was the lack of promoting GOLF in general. They had Tiger and Phil's picture up and then nothing. When I found out the Pro Shop next to the Tee Registration part couldn't play golf free or a reduced price I then realized this is another part of the puzzle to make as much money as possible. Like all the Red Light cameras, permits, license, and all kinds of tax's. I am from Texas and stayed a month in your wonderful state (tongue in cheek) working as a Insurance Adjuster trying to help out people that was hit by Tropical Storm Irene, hey it's not my fault your Insurance Company sold you a bill of no good insurance policy. I didn't get to play any course's as I was to busy and they were sanding the greens. Glad to be back home teeing it up Tuesday morning :). I agree you should pay for what you play, but Government remember just wants you to pay.

Very challenging layout. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The cart paths need some work but all in all a very great time and friendly staff. Will be back!

keeping engineers out of trump's grasp keeps the course more accessible to just about anyone who would like to play it. though private, and member owned, the club offers itself to be utilized by many local charities for outings. so if you want to play, all you need do is sign up for one fundraisers and kick in about $350.

On Friday, April 22,2011 my son-in-law Joe Nugent treated 3 of us to a round of golf at your course. We arrived at approximately 9:05 A.M. for our 9:33 T time. When we checked in we were told that a group of 40 had just gone off in front of us, no problem. However, no one, not the pro-shop/bag attendant or the starter had the courtesy to inform us that the greens had just been aerated or that the irrigation system was being repaired on several greens. Several of the greens had mounds of dirt on the first cut and workmen were still in the process of doing the repair work.Had we been aware of the condition of the course or that work was in progress we would most likely not chose to play.I have played at your course before and many others. I feel that we should have been informed of the course conditions before hand thereby having the opportunity to cancel or to play at a reduced price which is what I have experienced at other courses.

Eisenhower Blue and White are also open. Played today. Course is in great condition if you play from the actual tees. (Yes, I know there are temps for a reason, but I couldn't resist.) Greens are bumpy, but definitely puttable.

Long island golf would do well with Donald Trump. The Engineer's Club will eventually belong to Trump. The younger members know what is good for their club. The older members can't last forever.
