Opened in May of 2000, Tallgrass Golf Course was ranked No. 9 on Golfweek’s 2011 list of “Best Courses You Can Play” in the State of New York. Located in picturesque Shoreham, New York, the course was designed by famed architect, Gil Hanse. Hanse was named 2009’s “Architect of the Year” by GOLF Magazine.
This 18-hole, par 71 Scottish links-style course measures just over 6,500 yards from the back tees and is open to public play 7 days a week. Constructed on more than 150-acres of Long Island farmland, Tallgrass Golf Course boasts wide-open fairways and well manicured greens, and strategically placed pot and waste bunkers.
