Driving Directions
Southern State Parkway from the East:
Take Southern State Parkway West to Exit 19 South, Peninsula Boulevard. Continue ~2.3 miles to Ocean Avenue. Make a left on Ocean Avenue and proceed ~1.5 miles. Cross Atlantic Avenue and proceed 1/10 of a mile and make the first left on Front St (East Rockaway Fire Dept. on corner). At first stop sign make a right on Althouse Avenue. Proceed on Althouse Avenue to 1st Avenue. Make a left on 1st Avenue and proceed to Nassau County Bay Park.
Southern State Parkway from the West:
Take Southern State East to Exit 17S, Hempstead Avenue. From ramp, make a right and immediately bear left at fork, and proceed on Ocean Avenue. Continue ~2 3/4 miles to Atlantic Avenue. Cross Atlantic Avenue (Wendy’s Restaurant on corner) and proceed 1/10 of a mile and make the first left on Front Street (East Rockaway Fire Dept. on corner). At first stop sign make a right on Althouse Avenue. Proceed on Althouse Avenue to 1st Avenue. Make a left on 1st Avenue and proceed to Nassau County Bay Park.
